The 51Â鶹 Corporation Summer Helper is designed to give you valuable real-world experience in the electrical and data-communications construction industry. You will be partnered with one of our passionate mentors as you learn the trade inside and out. Further your education and expand your resume while working on some of our current projects.  Develop valuable professional relationships as you network with our leaders and key decision makers.  Put your knowledge, skills and abilities to use while enhancing our team and company performance.  

Summer Helpers typically work full-time hours during our 8-10 week paid program. 
Part-time internship opportunities may be available throughout the year.

Locations
•City of Industry, CA (corporate office)
•Walnut, CA

Responsibilities
•Evaluate electrical systems, products, and components by applying knowledge of electricity and materials
•Complete project tasks through training from guiding design engineers
•Join in-office educational workshops to gain professional and technical knowledge
•Contribute to the success of construction projects through team effort and team collaboration
•Prepare project documents under the supervision of guiding design engineers and electrical engineers
•Maintain product data base through the use of software such as Blue Beam, Excel, or equivalent 
•Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations

Qualifications
•Must have a basic level of proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT
•Prefer candidates who have completed coursework in any or all of the following: Engineering (or related field), Construction Management, Construction Architecture), or have equivalent work experience and have chosen the construction/engineering field as their career preference

The salary range for this position is: $18.50- $25.00/hour. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
