Werribee Mansion Wedding Photography | Justine & Keeden

This is a wedding I’ll never forget. From the moment Keeden called me about photographing their wedding, I knew this couple were special. From the second I sat down with them to discuss their wedding, I felt we were old friends. Lucky for me, they felt the same and booked me!

Their wedding day was honestly one of the most sincere, loving, emotional, at times hysterical, and relaxing day I’ve had the honour of photographing. The day went without a hitch. There was no stress, it was all smiles, and I’m sure the guests who may not have known the extended family well, will agree that by the end of the night, you were considered family.

They are couple to be jealous of.. How they met is so romantic (think secret admirer, love letters – with no creepiness!) a proposal at Keeden’s 30th in front of family & friends.

(And to add to Keeden’s embarrassment the said introduction letter asking Justine out was on display at the wedding!!!)

Every moment of their day had personal touches. Cards to each other, family traditions including gifts, letters and jewellery.    Both were very close to their grandmothers, who sadly could not be present, however this didn’t mean that there were not an important part of the day.  Justine wore a heart shaped token of her grandmother’s wedding gown inside her dress, close to her heart.

The bridal party were so much fun, and watch out for the images of them “shuffling”!

A massive thank-you to Mandy & Alex for your help on the day, you guys rock!

Justine & Keeden – it was a joy to witness the beginning of your new chapter in life together.. All the best for the many years to come xx

I’ve mentioned (a few times!) on the Iris Creations Photography Facebook page how much I was looking forward to photographing Justine & Keeden’s wedding.  WOW.  What a day.  I will tell you all about it when I present the full showcase of the day, however couldn’t resist a small preview!

Hope your enjoying your honeymoon, and once again congratulations! x

In Love – Daniel & Sarah | Geelong Engagement Photography

Life can be bliss, life can also be cruel.  Life can roll along without any hurdles, or life can throw a curve call.  While Daniel and Sarah celebrate the bliss and excitement of getting engaged, life has also brought a little obstacle and a new battle to fight.

However I am very sure that their strength and love will see them through this scary, emotional time, as will the support from their family & friends, both here and overseas.   I hope these put a big smile on your face!

Congratulations again, and all the best over the next few months xx

Mr. M’s Christening – Melbourne Baby Photography

Mr. M’s Mum called me to hold a portrait session on the day of his Christening, to commemorate a special day in his life.  I have to say, Mr M is one of the most calm, smiley and happy-go-lucky babies I’ve ever met.  In all the time I was there I didn’t see him do anything but smile and never heard a peep of protest from him!

Poor little guy was getting a tad tired when we were at photo time, however even if he was very ready for a nap, he kept smiling and then finally drifted off to sleep in his pram!

Mum, he’s an Angel!  I can’t wait to photograph him again!  I hope you enjoy the preview!

(I have to interupt your image viewing here.. I think M’s eyelashes take the prize for longest and thickest eyelashes, I have ever seen… They are divine!)

Mr H, 5 weeks – Melbourne Baby Photography

Mr H, is the baby brother of my son’s best friend from Kinder.  Yes one of those mother’s uncles brothers wifes son kinda story! hehe

Here he is at 5 weeks.  This “session” was one of those, “oh you have half an hour for a quick coffee, fantastic, I’m going to the studio to take photos of him!”  About 20 minutes later, we were finished (thanks to the older boys wanting to know what was going on in the studio)

Amazing how un-planned photo sessions can work out really, really well – and when you have none of the favorite blankets on hand!!
