I first met this family a few years ago to photograph Miss O’s big brother at the same age! Miss O was such a sweet thing, happily off in dreamland my whole visit!
Congratulations Mum, Dad & big brother, it was lovely to see you again!

WOW! I can’t believe how terribly behind in blogging I am! So many gorgeous little babies and beautiful bellies to share!
However I couldn’t go another day without blogging this gorgeous little girl, as I know there are many family & friend’s overseas who are anxiously waiting to meet her! Thanks for your patience Mum! I hope you enjoy!

Who’s a lucky Mum!? Happy Valentines Day everyone!

We visited the Yarraville Arts Market to see Auntie Janet at her market stall. Of course ice-cream was required.

We are having a stage where Ash doesn’t want to go to bed. At 830 or even later we are still struggling to settle him. On Friday after a rather long period of going up and down the stairs, I finally lay down with him to see if he’d go off to sleep with me there with him. After a while, I had an idea. Neither of my children took to teddy bears or comfort blankets, but you never know, as they grow older this could change.
So I asked him if he’d like a special teddy to hug. Yes he did. So off I went to find one of mine that I’d kept. ”Best ted” was given to me by my grandmother when I was born. He’s pretty special. Ash thinks so too. Half an hour later, he was fast asleep, and I could capture these: (yes I got teary)

My children only like their photo being taken when they have just had lunch, dinner, breakfast, jumped in a puddle, been playing in the dirt, or wearing unflattering for camera clothing. Oh well, shows them at their happiest I guess!

I would be lying if I didn’t say – I wish I’d looked this amazing during my pregnancies! L, you look amazing! All the best for the rest of the pregnancy, I can’t wait to meet your little one!
A playdate with his oldest friend. From when he was 12 weeks old!

And… a few more![]()

This is a two part preview
Miss T was just adorable! Such a good little baby, and boy is she going to be animated! I couldn’t resist a little ‘storyboard’ of her while she slept. I wish I knew what she was dreaming about, but it sure looked good! Smiles, quirks and sighs!
More to come of this gorgeous little girl…

So, just like thousands of parents, Friday morning was a new chapter in our household. It was a big day. It meant Eman’s Dad took the day off work. We were up early. 2am actually.
“No darling, it’s not time to go to school yet, back to bed!”
But then it was. I’d spent the day before putting name stickers on pencils, crayons and glue sticks (8 of them). We had the iron out and put labels on uniform. Uniform that swims on my not so tall son. And now, we were having breakfast, packing lunch and getting ready for our first day of prep.
So I do ask you to remember that while I am a photographer, I also have “mummy goggles” at times. I have no idea how technically brilliant these photos are. In fact I know some of them are downright not professional. But I think I’m allowed to boast anyway right!??
My big boy, on his first day of BIG SCHOOL!

As he finished for his first day…

Cold Rock was required… Ice Cream after the first day is a MUST!
One happy boy…. and a proud mummy!
… the night before. Sleeping soundly before a new chapter of his life.
