Mr. H, 9 days new – Melbourne Newborn Photography

I have been waiting very very very patiently for this little guy to be born..  Mum booked her session at the same time as this little guy’s cousin was born, and both boys were such a delight to photograph!

He didn’t stop smiling during our session (more often when we were pausing to admire how gorgeous he was!!) but did get quite a few HUGE smiles caught on camera!

I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad, I can’t wait to show you your gallery – it’s coming soon!

Miss E, 10 weeks new – Melbourne Baby Photography

This gorgeous lil girl was ten weeks on the day of our session, and it started out to be a rather gloomy day! (Weather wise)

Miss E had THE cutest facial expressions, and whilst I’m not really a fan of Elvis, I cannot get over the “Elvis” facials that babies do!

I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad!

Mr R, 10 days new – Melbourne Newborn Baby Photography

Well, this lil guy was an ANGEL!  Barely heard a peep out of him!  I could have photographed him all day, in fact on numerous occasions I think I mentioned that he could stay forever, but as Mum said, she’ll keep him cause he’s a superstar.  Yes he was.  A total superstar!

And have to say a big thanks to Mum & Dad for the chocolates! (I think they were gone about two hours after you left!)

I hope you enjoy the preview, I couldn’t choose, so here’s a BIG post! x

A day in the Garden – Melbourne Family Photography

Today I was preparing an Album for a client, and realised that in the craziness that was the end of last year, this session never graced the blog!  Well I’m fixing that situation right now!

This GORGEOUS family’s session was postponed a few times, due to little ones being unwell, then Mother Nature deciding it wasn’t the right time, but I think the wait was worth it as the weather on the day was just amazing!

Enjoy!

thePROJECT – Melbourne Baby Photography

Finally, January 31st.

Jan31

19 1/2 months old.

thePROJECT – Melbourne Baby Photography

I want to post all the images at once, but that might be a little much, so here’s a few more.  The weather has been interesting in Melbourne, one day nice, the other HOT, the next COLD.

I arrived home from Tasmania, we spent 36 hours at home, and then off for a roadtrip with Janet & Bec to Koriot to visit some friends.  Ash gets carsick, :( but everyone had a lovely time!  We took the kids out for very posh “coffee”, and  Eman and his friend had a ball washing the car…

Mr M, 12 days new – Melbourne Newborn Baby Photography

This gorgeous boy kept his parents waiting a little while!  They had planned to have Christmas Day in hospital, but then found themselves still waiting for their little baby!  So, on a rather WARM day, I finally met Mr M!  He is such a sweetheart!

I hope you enjoy your preview Mum & Dad!

I KNOW!  I’m horribly, horribly behind.  January is always like that.  I have really, really good excuses!  I’ve been away (as mentioned in previous post) to Tasmania, then 36 hours later went on a little road trip with Janet (which confirmed that yes, Ash does get carsick) and then been playing catch-up around the house… Have I mentioned before that I’ve decided I’m domestically challenged?  Well I think I am.  Either that, or my family can mess up the house quicker than I can clean it.  Or a combination of both!

Ok so instead of writting rubbish, I’ll post some images.  Sorry everyone but there’s only two today, I have to finish off a few from when I was away so they upload as a set, and it’s 12:44am, and I’m really tired!  Not to mention that I have some gorgeous clients to blog!

First up, evidence that Ash might need formal guitar lessons sooner rather than later.  And may have some brilliant stage presence..

JAN 12

And Eman, playing with his friend Arch..  they were “working” as you can see!

JAN 13

Promise I’ll finish up the overdue editing of the rest of January ASAP…. and moreso so I can show off today’s image (31st Jan) because it will blow all these images out of the water!!! Yes, it is that good – if i may say so myself!!

P.s Is it just me or is everyone else scared that it’s already February!?

Miss L, 4 months – Melbourne Baby Photography

Yes.  I am behind.  Behind on client “previews” and also with my PROJECT.  Careful, I may post them all at once!

I am currently enjoying the sound of waves crashing on the sand.  40 metres away from where I’m sitting (inside, by a fire!)

My mother, aunt (from England) and I flew to Tasmania late last week for a few days of girly time.  And boy, has it been a full on few days.  Never fear, I will be posting A LOT of images!  I have been undertaking a different sort of photographic project while here, all done on the Iphone!  But I will get to all that soon…

So, to the point of this (overly colourful!) post, is to show off Miss L.  She is one of my favourite little clients.  Just soooooo gorgeous!  Very excited that I get to photograph her another two times before she’s 12 months old!  I hope you enjoy! x

thePROJECT – Jan 11th

Well as most of Australia knows, we’re having a heat wave in Melbourne/Adelaide/other places..  Well today it got to 44.7 where we live.  (for those reading from F, that’s over 111!)

We have some form of cooling but it the temperature gets over 33ish it’s USELESS.  We blacked out the curtains/doors, had the cooling on, fans and a portable heater.  Which worked until about 2pm.  Then it got HOT and STUFFY and YUK.  Around 4pm we escaped next door.  There they have shade (we do not) and a paddle pool.  The kids had a BALL.  The water was actually COLD but boy it helped cool us down.

And made for some GREAT photos!!
