Once upon a time, two photographers got lost in a meadow, photographing the stunningly gorgeous Nat for her maternity portraits. I cannot tell you how many photographs were taken during this session. Every movement Nat made was an opportunity to click away!

12 weeks. I had to keep reminding myself this gorgeous girl was already 12 weeks old. Circumstances made Miss B’s newborn photography session delayed a little. But who’s know that!? She slept like a newborn, posed like a newborn. Another baby I could have quite happily kept photographing all day long.

I’ve known this family for nearly 3 years now, having photographed Miss ‘soon to be big sister’ when she was just 8 weeks old. Then Mum & Dad’s wedding almost 2 years ago. Number 2 is on the way, and I cannot wait to photograph the bun in a few weeks!
I’ve kept Mum waiting on this preview.. and after some very sad news this week, I hope these put a smile on your face. Take care xxx

I have to say, this has to have been my favorite Maternity session to date! I usually get a little nervous going on location for Maternity sessions, however this time I must have known that we had a gorgeous setting and amazing light, not to mention a wonderful family to work with. This stunning family are expecting baby #2, and big brother is already exciting about his baby brother or sister, and already has gifts for the baby! I cannot wait to meet your little bundle and all the best for a wonderful home birth! I cannot wait to come visit you again for your newborn session!

I LOVE what I do. I know I say this all the time, but I’m saying it again

I meet the most beautiful people, they open their lives to me, let me kindly boss them around for a few hours (;)) and in the process create a lovely relationship as they anticipate the birth of their child, or celebrate the birth. How could you not love this?!
Well one such GORGEOUS couple are K & B. We met on a not so pleasant day (weather wise) and whilst chatting, took our time to have a maternity session! K has the cutest baby bump I have ever seen, and is just “all baby!” I have to say I’m absolutely hanging out to met your baby, and good luck with the rest of the pregnancy!

Thankfully it was a little bit cooler for this mum-to-be than the previous few Maternity sessions! And hopefully that is the end of the seriously HOT weather.
THis baby is due in about 7 weeks now, cannot wait to meet him or her!

Noticing a pattern lately? All maternity sessions have been on days of extreme HEAT!
Well this day certainly takes the cake. While Melbourne’s temperature soared, this stunning mama-to-be took it all in her stride! Outside the local temperature registered 47.9 as we were saying farewell. How we did it, I’m not sure. We had the cooling on (wasn’t doing much) two fans, and even tried putting ice in front! The ice did nothing but melt over the floor. But it was worth a try.
Thankfully it looks the weather is starting to calm down.
