Ebony + Michael | Williamstown Wedding Photography

Ebony and Michael met through friends and after 3 years of dating got engaged, on their anniversary at Queenscliff Beach.  This gorgeous couple were surrounded by family and close friends as they exchanged their wedding vows in front of Michael’s Uncle, Paster Allan Herman at Westgate Vineyard Church.  Together we ventured around Williamstown’s gorgeous Botanical Garden’s and of course Williamstown Peir for their wedding photography.

Their reception at 501 Receptions in Footscray was themed as an Asian Banquet due to their love of Asian cuisine, as guests were treated to course upon course of amazing food!

Their wedding had many personal touches, of course being married by Michael’s Uncle, the stationary was all made by the groom (and how fantastic does it look!?) and two of Ebony’s Bridesmaids took charge of all things beauty!

Congratulations again Ebony and Michael!

thePROJECT – October 2013

Well folks, I’ve changed the way I do my personal project AGAIN.  Project 11/11 seemed like an awesome idea, capturing the everyday, one day a month.  However choosing a specific day didn’t really work if I didn’t have the boys with me that day!  I will admit the ‘Photo-a-day” over summer, (AKA thePROJECT) is also hard for the same reason.   SO.  NOW I will do a monthly post of images:)

This is also coming when I have decided that it’s my goal to take some time out each week to FINALLY sort images of my OWN children.  I have the most fantastic storage system for my beautiful clients.  But if I wanted to find an image of Eman at age 4, I would be struggling via folders upon folders upon folders.  At least until earlier this year.  So they will FINALLY be sorted, and I can FINALLY produce my own photo albums! (7 years late, but hey, good things take time right??!)

So Welcome!  This is our October.  I did of course choose to do this half way into the month, so there’s not the ‘essential’ images I have decided will be included, and  I will be trying to add images of the fur-babies too, cause after all they are part of the family too!  Hope your October was full of fun and happy memories:)x

There’s a baby in our house…

And no, not the “real” variety (as my youngest would say, ‘Mummy I want a REAL baby, a PERSON baby.’)

Introducing “Baby Doctor”.  My son’s 5th birthday present.  (He lost on the REAL baby, and happy with second best, a baby RABBIT) Yes he loves Doctor Who.  And you can just guess what the hutch is called – (if your a doctor who fan anyway!!) Yes, your right.  The TARDIS.

Baby Doctor is just gorgeous.  Loves to be held, and when I open his hutch jumps up for a cuddle.  So far the cats aren’t TOO fazed by the newcomer.  In fact I’m not sure if Sebbie (13 years old) is scared, babysitting or looking at Baby Doctor like an old man… “oh you are a stupid kitten… look at you”..

Enjoy x

Pretty Fairies in Tamworth

Back to our trip to Tamworth for a moment;)

One of the best things about friends being photographers, (and having the most gorgeous children) is an outing to somewhere pretty and having fun with the cameras.  With the youngest two in fairy-dresses, it was a photographers delight – with gorgeous light to boot.  Amanda’s four girls are all just magic in front of the camera.  Each so different in personality.  Honestly I could photography them all day every-day.  And it’s no wonder Amanda does!  (You must check out her beautiful blog HERE!)

Something for photographers: If you didn’t already know, Amanda also produces a variety of Actions for Photoshop and Presets for Lightroom.  Whilst I generally use my own creations,  I adore Amanda’s Actions and have used such in this blog post:)

More from Tamworth coming soon xx

Tamworth – part II

More from our whirlwind trip to Tamworth to visit Amanda and her family.  I’ll be honest, most of these (actually all baring one or two!) were taken on the iPhone, yep I’m a sucker for the iphone, and a lover of Instagram.   I love how moments from everyday life can be captured so easily.  And lets face it, what’s a holiday without a few iPhone “selfies” ;)  enjoy! x
