Shaun & Rosie | Yarra Valley Wedding Photography

Rosie and Shaun have been together for three years, with Shaun proposing in Rome, at a small local restaurant, before they travelled Europe together for the next month.  Their stunning wedding was on a beautiful sunny day in the gorgeous vineyard in the Yarra Valley, Mebourne.  Hard to believe it was just on Autumn!
And, being a very romantic but modern couple, they even have their own hashtag for their wedding #shaungetshisrose

Congratulations Rosie & Shaun!  x

“…You got to be the only one
Who knows just who I am
And you shine in the distance
I hope I can make it through
‘Cause the only place
That I want to be
Is right back home with you…” *

Nic & Mel met in Canberra when Nic reached out, after seeing a photo of her with a mutual friend – when they realised they’d gone to the same high school.  (If you’d been at their wedding – and trust me, it was AMAZING – you would have heard all the gorgeous details, in a beautiful and hilarious account during the ceremony and the speeches!) Four years later; as Nic’s professional rugby career saw them embarking on an adventure to live in France,  Nic proposed to Mel on her family farm.

Every member of the Bridal Party and guest, travelled to Melbourne for the stunning wedding at Werribee Mansion.  It was a perfect day, for a beautiful couple.  Congratulations Nic & Mel! x

Beata & Joel | St Kilda Wedding Photography

Beata & Joel are one of those couples who after 1 minute you feel you’ve known forever, and I’m sure everyone will agree, are just gorgeous!  Having met through friends 9 years ago at a place called the Poolroom, Joel proposed at the local park while they were taking their dog for a walk.

It was a beautiful, however very windy day when they celebrated their wedding at the relaxed and casual (yet elegantly beautiful) venue Sandbar in St Kilda.  Congratulations guys, such a pleasure to be a part of your special day x

Christmas Mini-Sessions | Baby Photography Melbourne

It’s the end of November which means one big, important, exciting thing.  Christmas is coming!  And although that is exciting for every child (and child at heart) it’s even more exciting with a new baby or baby sibling to share it with!  And of course, we know exactly how that feels in our household!  So to celebrate, we have created a little vintage Christmas wonderland in the studio!  We have an exciting little package to share with our lovely clients, and to extend to new friends as well.  Christmas mini-sessions are a perfect way to see our studio and get a taste for our photography.  We have exciting things up our sleeves for 2016, and can’t wait to share with you!

Our exclusive Christmas Photo Sessions run for approx 20 minutes, and can involve just baby, or all siblings too! Package includes an online gallery of your images, a facebook preview to share with family and friends (we can even make this into a digital Christmas card!) and your favorite FIVE images as full resolution digital downloads.  Of course if you love them all, we have a huge special to have them all*!  Christmas Mini-Sessions are $120. (for up to 3 children, $30 per child after)

Christmas Mini-Sessions will be running during the week, and we have VERY limited places available on Sunday 29th November and Sunday 6th December.  So please get in quick!

If you are after a more natural family portrait session to gift your partner, or grandparents, or even yourself, we are also extending our Spring Special as gift vouchers, AND can be used as outdoor or studio sessions.  This means if you purchase a session before December 31st 2015, you have until December 31st 2016 to use it.  Perfect Christmas present for those with a little one on the way!

So without any further rambling, here’s our first first Christmas session of the year, little miss 9 months!

(And our flyer at the end…!) xx

Krissy & Ivan | Encore St Kilda Wedding Photography Melbourne

I’ve known Krissy for almost 15 years and was so excited when she called to say that Ivan had proposed and would I photograph their wedding!
Krissy & Ivan met at a mutual friend’s 21st birthday party.  They were on a jumping castle.  Yep!  How cool is that!?? They have been together for 10 years, when last Christmas, Ivan asked Krissy to marry him.
Now for most Australian’s (ok mainly Victorian’s) Grand Final weekend is a big one.  Well, it was much bigger for these two lovebirds!  Two ceremony’s and the party of all parties at Encore in St Kilda.  I mentioned on our Facebook page that their wedding weekend was EPIC, and well, it was!
The first civil ceremony was under the amazing ‘Dome’ on Collins St, Melbourne.  Now normally the city can be a little difficult to navigate on a weekend, however not on Grand Final day.  It felt almost like a ghost town!  We went on a little journey around the city for our photos, whilst listening/watching to the grand final on one of the groomsman’s mobiles.  (I was super happy, he was not so much… yes you guessed right, I’m a Hawthorn supporter!)  We completed our adventure back at Encore in St Kilda, where we chilled out to watch the final quarter of the football and relax before the party started.  The reception was a wonderful celebration with photos of their parents and grandparents weddings, and few rounds of Macedonian dancing! Their first dance was AMAZING, and choreographed by Krissy’s sister and head bridesmaid, Trish.

The next morning was the traditional Macedonian Orthodox ceremony, followed by a lunch with close family & friends.
Congratulations Krissy & Ivan, it was a wonderful weekend!  We had a ball with you both x
