Trying to photograph the details of one’s gorgeous curls is not easy. Especially outside.

Kinder Graduation #1. Seabrook Kindergarten. While other children sang and danced the organised actions, Eman plays air guitar and at the end of each number, gives up the “rock on” sign. Yep, I think I have two rockstars on my hands![]()

Eman rescued a moth from the cat, but then decided it would be his pet. Eventually we convinced him to let the moth live in the rose bush.

Not overly interested in photos today.

I first met this family when Mr Z came to the studio for his newborn photography, (his newborn photos are available here!) and now he’s a big brother! And a very proud one too!
Mr N is such a content baby, in fact it seems he likes it better with lots of noise around! Such gorgeous hair and how could resist those gorgeous lips?
It was wonderful to see you all again, I cannot believe how much Z has grown! I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad, your gallery is very very close!

I did both of Mr. T’s sister’s baby photography at the same age as he is now, 4 months. (And boy haven’t they grown!!) Miss I (eldest big sister) is quite the little lady already, and Miss A is just adorable! A little shy, but can’t resist smiling when I would start acting like a goose! Mr T, takes everything in around him, his adoring sisters, and this fascinating world around him which he gazes at in wonder. Mum & I have worked on a theme with our sessions with the girls, and now now with Mr T – each time we’ve changed it up slightly to suit each child. Makes things so special!
I couldn’t resist this second photograph, I want to put a silly caption like “wow, photographer – lady- what – are – you – doing?” The expression is just priceless!
I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad, your full gallery isn’t too far away!

I think one of the most amazing things about photographing a family with young children, is watching how different their personalities are. These three lil guys were so much fun. So different. I think you can see even in this preview, just how different they are! While we were “concentrating” on Mr S, we also got some fantastic family images (and wow, no blinking eyes!!! all smiles!!!) and had fun playing outdoors, making sure there were no crocodiles!
I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad, and the boys enjoyed their lolly-pops!

This little guy was a total cutie! A tiny bit stubborn, he was a big fan of sleeping with his hands by his cheek, and wasn’t overly impressed with the idea of of anything else, however with a little sweet talking, he happily obliged
However very peaceful and I barely heard a peep out of him. Obviously a big fan of his big brother, was very happy to be nursed by him!
Was lovely to meet you Mum & Dad, I hope you enjoy the preview, your gallery is moments away!

FAQ:
So what are mini-sessions?
Mini-sessions are a shorter photography sitting, of which 15-20 images will be availble in your private gallery to choose from. These sessions are designed for new clients, wishing to try out custom art photography, or previous clients, who would love updated photos of their baby, children & family.
How much are the sessions?
$75, which is half our normal studio sitting/creation fee. Payment is required to secure your booking. Bookings are non-refunable, however may be transferred*
What’s included?
Approx 45 minute sitting (depending on weather, we may even venture outdoors for some images!), from this 15-20 images will be available in your private online gallery. A matted 5×7″ print is also included.
Why can’t Newborn or Maternity sessions be included?
Due to the dedication we place on the process of newborn & maternity sessions, they cannot be performed in the allocated time. However, if you have a newborn baby, or are pregnant and would like a fun family session with siblings etc, then the mini-session would be a great add-on to a tradition maternity/newborn booking.
How many people can be included into the session?
Traditionally, a family of 4 or 5. If you have a larger family or would like to include Grandparents, we suggest you book a double session on the day, due to the time allocated for the sessions.
If I win the Facebook competition, what do I get?
If you have booked one of the mini-sessions, you will receive $200 towards your order. This prize cannot be carried to other sessions at another time. The prize is only available for booked sessions on the weekend of our mini-studio sessions.
*Please note: Regular and Additional Terms & Conditions do apply.
Mr. M’s Mum called me to hold a portrait session on the day of his Christening, to commemorate a special day in his life. I have to say, Mr M is one of the most calm, smiley and happy-go-lucky babies I’ve ever met. In all the time I was there I didn’t see him do anything but smile and never heard a peep of protest from him!
Poor little guy was getting a tad tired when we were at photo time, however even if he was very ready for a nap, he kept smiling and then finally drifted off to sleep in his pram!
Mum, he’s an Angel! I can’t wait to photograph him again! I hope you enjoy the preview!

(I have to interupt your image viewing here.. I think M’s eyelashes take the prize for longest and thickest eyelashes, I have ever seen… They are divine!)

One day, Child Photographer Chrissy Torney and I decided to take our (at the time) rather ratty children to a field nearby. It made them happy to play, and made us happy to have time taking photographs of our own children! Believe it or not, it doesn’t happen all that often (unless you count the Iphone as a camera?)
You can see Chrissy’s images here, and it does include a rather amusing one of myself – One of my last days in the famous “moonboot”.
