Mr O, 14 months – Melbourne Baby Photography

My session was Mr O, was a special 1st birthday present from a close friend.  We did have to postpone initially as little man was a little unwell, but once we did meet, we had a blast!  He was all smiles and giggles, and very very ticklish!

We ventured outdoors for some fun at the park, which was a highlight for the little guy!

I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad!

Sydney trip Pt I

Well I recently dashed off to Sydney.  It was HUMID (by the way you will see me write this SEVERAL times… just for the heads up!)  The main reason I was there was to give the lovely Amanda a hand photographing her brothers wedding.  Not sure why she needed help, but hey, I wasn’t going to say no ;)  I mean honestly, who needs help when it’s a) your brothers wedding, b) you have a 7 month old baby, c) the older 4 children there as well?  I think she just wanted me there for my lovely company :P

Ok enough joking aside… and we’ll get to the wedding images later, but for now, day one of the trip.  After enjoy a lengthy sleep in (very much deserved since it was SUCH a long trip on a plane – a whole hour and I was lucky to be feeling important in seat 1A hehe) we ventured to the shops (in the humidity) to buy some last minute wedding supplies then convinced young Lilly to help us out for some photos, OUTSIDE of the air conditioned comfort … yep it was HUMID.   Well as her mother says, point a camera at Lilly and then she’s done.  No prize winning photography here by me, but aren’t they CUTE!?

Ok can you tell what she’s thinking?

“ARE YOU QUITE FINISHED?”  ah yes, the pressure that comes from being a photographers child….

collage 4Told you I was going to complain about the humidity.  Did you know it was apparently more humid that Friday in Sydney than in North Queensland?  Well it was :P  So I have the right to complain! hehe

till next Sydney installment xx

thePROJECT – Melbourne Child Photography

Feb 2nd – Eman’s Kinder orientation, he met his new friend Mr. L.  Look out, I think these two might be trouble!!  After Kinder, we took the boys for icecream, and they RAN around the shops like tornados!  When we TRIED to go shoe shopping, Eman took a liking to the display, where he BURNED his finger on the light.  Massive blister!

Feb 3 – Eman was meant to go with his brother to Daycare, however he DID NOT WANT TO GO.  So instead he spent most of the day in his room.  After a much needed nap, we took some “photobooth” style photos..  the MANY faces of Eman…

Feb 3Feb 4th – Was his OFFICIAL first day of Kinder.  He and Mr. L, ran up to each other and had a massive hug (so cute)..  And off he went.  I took these just before we left the house.

As the project is all black & white photos, I took this, however HAD to show a colour one of his “uniform”.

Dec 14th – Uncle Richie came for a visit today.  If my kids are this good all the time, I might keep him around a lot more!  Lots of laughter!  Off frame, Eman is pulling faces at Uncle Richie…

Miss C, 1 year & Mr E, 3 years – Melbourne Child Photographer

I think one of the best things about my job is watching all my gorgeous little clients growing up.  It’s a huge honour being invited back to document the growth and joy in children’s lives!  Sessions change every time as babies get older, and the older sibblings start to remember you, and if your really lucky like I am, big brother of 3 years old even gives you flowers!

This is the 4th time I’ve photographed this family in 2 1/2 years, and I certainly hope many more times to come!

Hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad (and Grandma & Grandpa!)

Mr T, 9 months – Melbourne Baby Photography

This little guy is DEFINATELY a mummy’s boy!!  We had to get quite creative for this session, as Mr T was not really happy unless in mum’s arms!!  He was adorable – of course!

Hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad!

A day in the park – Melbourne Child Photographer

I’m slowly catching up!!  I have heaps and heaps and heaps of gorgeous images of gorgeous babies to post, however I’m being a bit “control freakish” at the moment, so everything is happening in order.  (even the house is getting an overhaul… by the end of September, if it doesn’t have a “home” it GOES!)

I’m always getting in trouble that I’m not posting enough of my gorgeous boys, so here we go.  Firstly, is Eman, who many will know, isn’t the biggest fan of the camera.  If he’s in the mood, he’s covered in food, the day before the hairdresser appointment.  And in the most unflattering-for-camera outfit… have I mentioned this is called “photographer’s child syndrome”?

Anyway before I carry on too much more, some from Eman in the studio…

My boys in the park.  Seems strange posting this today, when the sun is shining and it’s slowly becoming more and more like warmer weather is on the way.  Well this day it was techincally the first day of Spring, only it was more like the middle of winter!  Also felt like playing around with some different processing for a real “wintery feel”!

A “birthday” party – Melbourne Child Photography

Eman (my adorable – camera – hating 3 year old) had a play date with the adorable Ashley.  (Miss Ruby’s big sister)  They were so quiet at one stage we popped outside to see their “cake”.  Apparently it’s my birthday!  It was a layered chocolate cake, complete with candles!  Since it was a birthday party, I mentioned how we’d need the camera.  Emerson actually agreed!  I pushed it by asking for kisses and a “formal” pose!!

And asked if Ashley & Emerson could please help me by blowing out the candles (they were very diplomatic and only put two candles on my cake!) xx

Mr A, 13 months – Baby Photography Melbourne

For our fourth session this year, Mr. A certainly made me work hard!  He’s been on the move for a while now and boy oh boy is he quick!  He’s also very good at showing off a range of expressions!!

Thankfully he enjoyed being in boxes and baskets or I’m not sure I would have been able to get many images!  He was much more keen to explore than have his photo taken!!

Lovely to see you again, and I hope you enjoy your preview Mum & Dad! (Told you I got a smile Mum ;) )

Miss F – 19 months – Melbourne Child Photography

This gorgeous girl certainly kept us on our toes!  This is the second time I’ve photographed Miss F, firstly when she was just 3 months old.  Not much of a preview as Mum has seen the whole gallery!  Sorry for the delay, but I hope you enjoy anyway!
