Artist

Gemma began her photographic career photographing live bands, which led her to portraits. Iris Creations Photography is dedicated to photographing love – and those events that are bursting with it, weddings, pregnancy, and newborn babies.

Gemma has studied photography & photojournalism at University, and has been awarded for her work on a State, National and International Level. She has been published in many newspapers & magazines around the world, images published as cover images and content in many books, as well as having her work featured on The Footy Show & The Sunday Morning Show on Channel 9.  She is a fully accredited Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) & Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI)

Gemma is a ‘History Geek’, with a particular obsession with the Tudor Era. She has a wonderful partner, Alex, (also a photographer with Iris Creations) two young boys, (one who dislikes the camera, another who puts up with it) a cats, a rabbit called “Bunny” and often has conversations quoting musical lyrics.  Her behind the scenesl blog “Only in Wonderland” can be viewed HERE.
