“On a dark and rainy day” 6 days old – Melbourne Newborn Photography

Knowing this gorgeous house had a large gorgeous window, I wasn’t *too* worried about the light.  But being a tad partial to natural light for newborn photography, a dark and rainy day like last Saturday is always a little bit scary!  At as you’ll see, we had a beautiful LARGE window to use.  But even then, for ten minutes, the weather turned totally dark on us like it was 5pm!

I met Mum, Dad & big brother for Mum’s maternity session, and if they would let me could quite happy take up residence in their main bedroom as my studio!  It’s just beautiful.  So little Mr. here was 6 days old for his session, and had the smoothest clear skin I’ve ever seen on a newborn.  He was a good little baby to photograph, pausing only for feeding, and barely heard a peep out of him.And just for you Dad, we got a few shots with big sister!  I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad!
