Mr R, 12 weeks – ACOCP session

Today I had the absolute pleasure of spending the morning with this gorgeous family.  Hailing from NSW they have been living in Melbourne since just before the birth of their 5th baby boy, Mr B.  At only one day old he had surgery on his heart.

When I arrived Mr B gave me nothing but smiles.  His 4 older brothers in a bundle of excitement told me all about the Transformer 2 movie, so much so I actually want to see it! (just don’t tell my husband or any of my male friends!)  We went for a walk to the Royal Children’s Hospital’s cafeteria courtyard for some family photos.  As the weather seemed to get cooler, not warmer with the day, I ventured inside with mum & Mr B for some indoor photos at the family resource centre.  Everywhere we went this little boy stopped the female nurses & volunteers!  He is just gorgeous!  However, the smiles slightly faded as the camera came out!  I did sneak a couple of smiles (when I don’t think he knew!)

Mum, was lovely to meet you and your beautiful family, and I couldn’t have thought of a better way to spend the morning of my birthday but to take photos with you all.  I wish your family all the very best for tomorrow, and know Mr B will be an absolute trooper with his second big heart surgery.

I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad! xx
