I met this gorgeous little girls Mum & Dad a few weeks ago during the famous Melbourne heatwave for their Maternity session.
Little Ms S is pictured here at 5 days old, and was just the perfect subject. Not quite sure if she was still hungry, she dozed off to wake up again, before falling into a DEEP sleep. With Grandma (visiting from overseas), Mum & Dad watching on, she performed beautifully for the camera without making a sound!

Ok this is a big post!!
First met mum & dad for their maternity session on Black Saturday. It was {as mum told me} 50 degrees on their temperature gauge as our session concluded. We tried everything to keep cool, and kept it together in the extreme heat. Their drive home from the session was less than relaxing, as they live rather close to the affected fire areas. Thankfully for them, (unlucky for many others) the wind was blowing away from their journey home.
Well fast forward to Monday, and we had our newborn session, Miss C was such a doll. The family rose early to come to the studio, saying while she mainly sleeps most of the time, the mid-morning was best. Well they were not wrong! Miss C was obviously enjoying herself for our session.. She slept, slept, slept, had some morning tea, slept, slept, woke, looked around, and pretty much slept!
Not only was she a DREAM to photograph, she barely required any “cleaning up” – well, except on daddy’s footy jersey.. Not sure she wants to be a Manly supporter dad

This little guy was a real champion. Wasn’t feeling 100% and made us work pretty hard for his gorgeous smiles, and I have to say has the cutest serious baby faces I’ve ever seen! (check out his eyes!!)
Have to say I learnt the best new trick for teething babies – and tried it on my little guy at home – give bub a full size football!! Cures those annoying sore gums very quickly!! (And gives them a cool game to play)

I first met this family when big sister was miss A’s age, about two years ago! I have to say I honestly looked at miss A thinking it was Miss I – just frozen in time! They are almost identical! However, even from my two hour visit, I could already see differences in personality!!
