In January I took a little bit of time off, I really wanted to spend some more time with my two boys, and also to play a good hostess to the many visitors we had from interstate and overseas.
Together with other photographers around the country, I took up the challenge of “photo a day in January.” One photo (I stuffed that up almost instantly) of your child/ren every day. Well I stuffed that up to. January 2nd, it was 10pm and I realised I hadn’t taken a SINGLE image. January 3rd was Ashton’s Naming Day, and I was too busy baking, cutting out stars, taste testing the Champagne and helping write the speech for the celebrant. I think I had a decent excuse?
And here’s a montage of the project. Originally I was going to go for a more arty style – more portrait like, but then decided that I would make it more natural, a bit more journalistic.
So here we are
‘Snapshots’ of my adorable two! My eldest SLOWLY enjoying the idea of the camera. We are getting there SLOWLY!!!

Thanks ladies.. Actually the one having so much fun with the boys is actually my brother (AKA “cool” uncle richie), daddy is more reserved, and hiding behind Emerson and the laptop
