Miss D – 5 days

This gorgeous little girl was sleeping soundly when I arrived, and stayed that way until we were done!  She made my job soooooo easy.  I have to say I was a little surprised when the phone rang, Miss D was born almost 2 weeks early!

I hope you enjoy the preview mum & dad!

Miss A, 10 days – Part II

Okay, here is Miss A’s real preview.  I got a little excited a few days ago and HAD to post.  I think all involved thought she would wake straight away.  It had been a few hours since breakfast, and we all know we are playing with fate in the case of hungry newborns!  But A was a dream considering.  And to wake in an unfamiliar place, with a new person, she was very content!

I hope you enjoy your preview mum & dad.  Gallery is not far away!

Miss M, 5 months

On my way home from Woodend, I stopped in to see a family, who just happen to be one of my first ever baby clients.  Well baby number two arrived (not long before my baby number two) and she was GORGEOUS.  She is an absolute snuggle bunny, who is most happy being held and cuddled, however had a few moments of enjoying the photographic spotlight!

And isn’t big sister just beautiful?  I haven’t seen Miss M since she was her sisters age.  Here’s one who LOVED the camera ;)

Hope you enjoy your preview mum & dad.  Full gallery coming soon!

Miss A – 10 days

I’m a little behind on a few previews, which will be coming shortly.  But could not resist posting this image of gorgeous Miss A!  Isn’t she the sweetest thing!?

Time for something personal

My husband is from NZ and has taken our first son to visit the family.  So to cope with the separation anxiety, I took Ashton up to visit some family friends at their new farm in Woodend.  Well the moment I got there I saw this tiny part of their property and knew the camera would be coming out for a mini portrait session with him.  So here you go.  A baby in a birdbath!

Ok I’ve been blog tagged by two photographers & friends – Amanda & Fiona. (So if your reading from Sydney or Brisbane, please check out their website – they are amzing photographers ;) ) Blog tag is the modern version of chain mail – only not quite as silly.  Well maybe it is.  But oh well.  It’s fun!

The “7 Things You May Not Know About Me” tag quiz.
The rules:
1. Post the rules on your blog.
2. Write 7 random things about yourself.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post.
4. Pass on the tag.

1. I hate shoes.  I wear them IF I HAVE TO.

2. I always wanted long hair.  It just never grew beyond my shoulders.  When I was pregnant with my first son, it suddenly grew.  And now it’s so long that I struggle to do anything with it.  But since it took over 20 years to grow, feel I can’t cut it into something slightly more stylish!

3. I could quite happily live like a gypsy.  I love to travel, see new & old places.  My only grip with travel, is packing for children makes it difficult to travel light.

4. I wish I was French.  HAHA.  (personal joke with my French pal) But cannot wait to travel to England & France.

5. I think I was born several hundred years too late.  I think I was meant to be alive in the 1500 or maybe just the 60s & 70’s! haha

6. For for first time in YEARS I actually enjoyed watching the ARIA’s last night.  Just wish Jeff Lang had won best blues & roots album ;)

7. I barely watch TV

And so I now tag Janet, Bec, Stacey K, Kristen, Sheila & Jess

So that concludes my personal post.  I also want to mention that the internet has been rather dodgy my end lately.  It’s been dropping out on and off.  So if you have emailed me and I haven’t replied, please resend!

Mr J – 3 weeks

Well I had a small break in Brisbane.  Which was lovely.  BUT… I had to watch the AFL grand final in a city that really didn’t care that much.  Usually this wouldn’t bother me either, except that Hawthorn were playing.  So there I was, getting RATHER EXCITED, with my 4 month old baby, a beer, pizza – and 2000km’s away from the party.

(Sorry, this post is about a baby I promise)  So you can imagine my excitement when I’m walking up my client’s driveway a week later and I see a “GO HAWKS” poster on the front window.  So unlike me & this gorgeous baby’s dad who had to wait 17 years to watch the hawks win, Mr. J only had to wait two weeks into his life!  So of course, we had to celebrate the Hawks win ;)

And how awesome is dad’s tattoo?  What a perfect tattoo to photograph with a newborn, but the family crest!

Hope you enjoy the preview mum & dad!

Baby A; 3 weeks

Little Baby A was a great little model, not the biggest fan of being asleep while in her birthday suit, so we made use of wrapping her up..  once asleep, she practically posed herself!

I hope you enjoy your preview mum & dad :)

Due in two weeks!

This gorgeous couple are expecting their baby in approx two weeks, and I have to say (as I do so often) I cannot wait to meet him/her!
