And I didn’t really get a chance before Christmas to focus on any images I’d taken of my own children, so I am now

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my clients, their families and my dedicated blog readers all the very best for Christmas and the New Year!
Have a wonderful and safe holiday season.

{I have to say, getting these images of my two “angels” was not an easy task. Both have colds, the eldest who decides his name is Denise the Menace whenever he’s unwell, and Ashton, well lets just say I’m glad I have skills in Photoshop, his face was just disgusting. But oh how it’s worth it! Aren’t they just beautiful? (Oh did I mention they are BOTH sleeping at the moment? a rare treat for mummy – Haha)}
And also, welcome to the new look blog. Iris Creations is currently undergoing a makeover. (Wonder if that means I’ll get one?) Cannot wait to unveil the new look, however the blog here is a sneak preview of some changes to come!
Happy Holidays!
Gemma xx
Christmas is upon us, and everyone is struggling to find time to do shopping!

Spend $200, receive $250 value*
Iris Creations Photography will be partially closed from the 22nd December until the end of January. Sessions already booked – Don’t stress! And of course, because a post is not a post without an image: A few of my (little?) baby, who is now almost 7 months old. If you follow my blog, I hope you also agree that it’s gone RATHER QUICKLY! (However I don’t feel that way at 3am!)
*please note: Vouchers are only redeemable in 2009, and expire in June 2009. For full terms and conditions, please contact Gemma.
I think I photograph the most perfect babies. Again, another perfect little guy. Never heard a peep out of him. He calmly dropped off to sleep with barely any help (although being in a strange place rather than his own bed, meant we needed a few cuddles!) – I swear I have the best job in the world!
Hope you enjoy your preview mum & dad, (and your gallery will be ready EXTREMELY soon!)

Iris creations is officially booked out for 2008, and now taking bookings for 2009.
The deadline for orders to be guaranteed delivery before Christmas is 30th November.
Orders may be placed after this time, however we cannot guarantee delivery before February 2009. Please contact Gemma for more information about this.

Orders will be taken and processed during this break. Emails & phone calls will be returned, however please allow up to 48 hours for such.

And to finish off this post, a recent image of my now 6 month old son!

I’m a little behind on my previews.. they are coming I promise! It’s a busy time of year and the days are FLYING by until Christmas!
This gorgeous guy was a trooper for his session. Just as we were getting close to the end of our session, he drifted into a dead sleep, and almost didn’t want to wake up! He had the most GORGEOUS face, and I have to say it’s been a difficult session in post production, simply because I think I love almost every image!
Hope you enjoy the preview mum & dad!
When mum called me to organise a session, I firmly had it in my head that he would be around 7 months – ish. When confirming our session, it dawned on me that he was over a year old! I could barely believe it!
I photographed Mr M when he was a teeny tiny newborn, and then his Christening, which was a gorgeous day in April. Here he is Mr 1 year old!
Hope your enjoy the preview Mum!!
Met up with a gorgeous extended family at a local park. The sun was SHINING (!) and with some lovely scenery it made a bit of a change getting out of the studio out into the fresh air!
These gorgeous girls are (obviously) twins at 5 years old, and very happy to smile for the camera!
And their gorgeous little cousin Mr A. Mr A was a weeee bit tired, but handled the photographer & assistant running around after everyone like a trooper!
Hope you enjoy the previews mums & dads!
P.s Thanks to Bec for the templates to create the new look previews
