Miss S, 12 Days – Melbourne Baby Photography

This gorgeous little baby was 12 days old on the day of our session.  She was so sleepy and quite happy to stay that way.  Loved cuddles and being warm (and it was a warm day too!)

I hope you enjoy the preview Mum & Dad!

Oh such newborn gorgeousness! These are beautiful Gemma, there is something about that 3rd one that I just love. The little details are gorgeous too.

wow look at her amazing lips! I love all of these, the tiny little close ups are precious, and the last one is so wanting a huge canvas!! brilliant work

thePROJECT – Melbourne Child Photography

Feb 2nd – Eman’s Kinder orientation, he met his new friend Mr. L.  Look out, I think these two might be trouble!!  After Kinder, we took the boys for icecream, and they RAN around the shops like tornados!  When we TRIED to go shoe shopping, Eman took a liking to the display, where he BURNED his finger on the light.  Massive blister!

FEB 2

Feb 3 – Eman was meant to go with his brother to Daycare, however he DID NOT WANT TO GO.  So instead he spent most of the day in his room.  After a much needed nap, we took some “photobooth” style photos..  the MANY faces of Eman…

Feb 3Feb 4th – Was his OFFICIAL first day of Kinder.  He and Mr. L, ran up to each other and had a massive hug (so cute)..  And off he went.  I took these just before we left the house.

As the project is all black & white photos, I took this, however HAD to show a colour one of his “uniform”.

Oh Gemma, that second last shot is one of the best maternity images I have seen. Its amazing and beautiful and just perfect!

thePROJECT – Feb 1st

When I get the vacuum out (basically every day unless I’m feeling particularly lazy, and no I’m not brilliant at housework but our floor looks like it’s never been done unless it’s done everyday) the boys go APE.  ”it’s my turn, it’s my turn” you hear from Eman, or protesting grunts in the case of Ash.  Eventually they get bored and it’s MY TURN.

Wonder if when they are older and would actually CLEAN the floor if it will still be fun?  I’m dreaming aren’t I?

Umm… I want to scoop him right out of this photo and bring him here! Too freaking cute. Oh, and he can clean my floor. It can be HIS TURN all the time. haha.

A day in the Garden – Melbourne Family Photography

Today I was preparing an Album for a client, and realised that in the craziness that was the end of last year, this session never graced the blog!  Well I’m fixing that situation right now!

This GORGEOUS family’s session was postponed a few times, due to little ones being unwell, then Mother Nature deciding it wasn’t the right time, but I think the wait was worth it as the weather on the day was just amazing!

Enjoy!

Just gorgeous Gem! My faves would be the one of the two siblings (wonderful light) and also the one of the baby girl in the bowl between the pillars. Well done!

Finally, January 31st.

Jan31

19 1/2 months old.

thePROJECT – Melbourne Baby Photography

Second last post from January!  Second last, because the 31st January’s image deserves it’s own post ;)

I decided to try doing a more ’studio’ shot of Ash, well he was more interested in getting OUT of the prop!

JAN 23

Today, Aunty Val left to go home to the UK.  It was wonderful to spend time with her at the beach house, and also Tasmania.. you will be very missed!

JAN 24

Coffee Date at Gloria Jeans.  (Jan 25th is also Uncle Richie’s birthday, so Happy Birthday!!)

jan25a

Australia Day, we had a BBQ at Janet & Michaels, and Ash had a sleep (after a long protest)

Jan26

At the park with lollypops!

Jan27

Someone happy to pose for an photo, while having a ‘rest’ on the couch!

Jan28

Another tired boy!

Jan29

It was a hot day, we had a session in the studio that morning so it was still set up.  As the cool change slowly came in we all hung out there, cooling off!

Jan30

Stay tuned, the last image of the month is coming up!

He is seriously the cutest baby boy, and I can’t even pick which image I love the most. Those eyes – watch out Gemma.

Awwww…Gemma! LOOOVE these!!! I adore your black and whites, they’re absolutely beautiful. And congrats on successfully finishing the 31days! :) xoxo

thePROJECT – Melbourne Baby Photography

I want to post all the images at once, but that might be a little much, so here’s a few more.  The weather has been interesting in Melbourne, one day nice, the other HOT, the next COLD.

I arrived home from Tasmania, we spent 36 hours at home, and then off for a roadtrip with Janet & Bec to Koriot to visit some friends.  Ash gets carsick, :( but everyone had a lovely time!  We took the kids out for very posh “coffee”, and  Eman and his friend had a ball washing the car…

thePROJECT – Melbourne Baby Photography

So I went away in January, to Tasmania.  So how to do thePROJECT!?  Well a clever plan came about!

The plan was that Bec would take a photo and email it to me, to which I would take a photo of the Iphone.

WELL. I didn’t have reception most of the days, and another you simply couldn’t see the screen on the phone. So yes in these the particular image had to be overlayed, yes… it’s cheating a little bit.

BUT there are my kids, on the right days and I did take the photos on the right days (at least of my phone)

So a big thanks to Bec for helping me out!

JAN 14JAN 15JAN 16JAN 17JAN 18JAN 19

The 19th, Ashton was OBSESSED with playing with my suitcase.  Until it fell down, on his foot!  (no nothing was in it, but it was still a little heavy for him!  He was fine!)

Another installment coming very soon.  I’m hoping that I will catch up in the next few days and hopefully keep the days on time soon!

  • Posted February 1, 2010 at 10:33 pm | Permalink

Glad the plan worked out! Hehe… Love the last one of Ash playing with the suitcase!

And Ashton is getting to big. Love his jimmy jams.

Mr M, 12 days new – Melbourne Newborn Baby Photography

This gorgeous boy kept his parents waiting a little while!  They had planned to have Christmas Day in hospital, but then found themselves still waiting for their little baby!  So, on a rather WARM day, I finally met Mr M!  He is such a sweetheart!

I hope you enjoy your preview Mum & Dad!
